Research Interests:
I lead the Reasoning
about Document Collections Area in the "Systems and
Practices" Lab at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). I
lead the Knowledge
Extraction from Document Collections project.
See what the press says about this project.
Before joining PARC, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the
Knowledge Systems Lab
at
Stanford University.
My fellowship was granted by the
German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Before I came to Stanford, I was a grad student (and for a short time a
research associate)
with Prof. Liz Bradley
at the
University of Colorado.
We developed an autonomous design and analysis program that
constructs mathematical models of physical systems
suitable for given
applications and specifications.
Matt Easley also completed his PhD working on this project.
